Wet Sanding
Wet Sanding
Alright I just did my 97' front and rear conversion. And yes I have 3-stage pearl white paint. My bumpers match fairly good but they have more of a fresh shine and rich look to it then the body of my car. The guy at the body shop said to wet sand my fenders with 2000grit paper and I will get a closer match. What do you guys think? And opinions or suggestions are welcome.
Thanks - Ray

I figure I'd tag along into this thread, instead of making a new one.
I know wet sanding takes a lot of patience... and with 3 cars, I've got a spare ride for while I work on it.
I know some of the basics, but I'm looking to get some of the finer details
What grit sand paper?
How much pressure on the buffer?
Treated water instead of tap?
If someone has a how-to, or knows a link. That would be even better
Thanks for any help guys.
