Is this a good wax routine?

I've got a question for qaxing. I know it's kinda a noob question, but I'm kinda a oob to detailing and the such. I have heard that the NXT wax gives a great deep shine and would like to incorporate it into my wax routine.

Does this make sense:

Wash
Dry
Claybar
Rinse
Dry
Meguairs 3-Step Deep Crystal System
Meguiars NXT Generation Tech Wax

I have really liked the results of the 3-step system and it's durability.
Will I achieve even better results now, or is it just overkill? Anythins else that I could be doing to get even better results? I've got a full day to do whatever, so time is not an issue at all.

Thanks

People here generally recommend putting the carnuba wax on top of the synthetic wax.

hmm, so maybe like steps 1 and 2 of the Deep Crystal, and then the Nxt and then step 3?

Always put the carnuaba on last.

If you need any detailing supplies, let me know, I've got sh!tloads of stuff im using on a clients car today. I've never seen such abuse of not taking care of a car..... Here's a pic to show you:

Yes thats the trunk lid, keep in mind this is a late 90s Toyota Avalon. You won't beleive how nice that trunk lid looks now, can't even tell it was ever scratched up:

wow! what were they doin? sliding chainsaws and rusty nails across the back of it?? looks much better though! 110% improvement! That's the nice thing about surface scratches, though. well, thanks for the offer of supplies, BlueC. i would probably take you up on that and maybe you could show me a thing or two regarding the fine art of detailing as I am just kinda getting my feet wet. however, I am leaving for college in Montana in a week and so this will be my last wax for a while.

thanks for the replies! time to wax!

I'm always available for touch-ups, so if you have an area on you're car where its quite scratched up, I can take care of it for you. Hell, I had a co-worker of mine that needed a touch-up on his trunklid and one of his doors on a 3 month old car, took me an hour and got paid $50. Although, for an org member, I'd do a touch up for free.
