Good point if you get to a section where a bodyshop has saved the stripe (clear coated over it) then you won't be able to easy off it.you may also have a little swelling of the paint from the enamel (painted) stripe on the urethane clear coat. Other thn that you should be okay. Hey vtonmymind did you have any swelling of the paint under the stripes.
No swelling here. Everything seemed to go swimmingly well for me when I did it. A few of the thicker spots were a pain, but I just sprayed more EZ on it and waited longer before I wiped it off.

Yah I know what you mean. I hate seeing cars driving around with white in all the seam of the car. It just makes me cring!!!!
