i recently backed up into a phone poll. There is a minor dent at the top of where teh scratches begin to form. I'm no sure on what to do about that yet. Nor what to do with the scratches. I wanted to try Meguiar's SCRATCH X out on the car by hand and see how far that gets me. But no experience with it. Its near winter time so i'm not going to try anything at of now but when spring comes i'm thinking about going to get this done. Do you think it would help out?
Are there any other products that might just help me out a little more? I'm not trying to get it to completely go away. Just something a little less more obvious. I might try one of those dent poppers too. I want to aleast make an attempt to get it looking nice once again. Anyone with words of wisdom for me?

Yeah you scratched it down to the primer so scratch x wont help for the big scratches. Take it to a body shop and ask them for thier advise. I know they have DIY scratch removal kits. http://autogeek.net/paint-chip-scratch-repair.html
I used them on some of my deep scratches and made it look bling...

Allied auto parts carries all the profesional 3m compounds, unfortunatly most of them aren't for hand use, but some are. Also, anything that disappears when wet will buff out, if it's still visible when it's wet chances are it's way past the clear coat and won't buff out.

Oh and as for the dent, around here theres a company called "the dent wizard" there a HUGE mobile paintless dent removal company, all the body shops around here use them every know and then, you'd be suprised what they can fix
50% of the scuffs and stuff are gone when wet. But i got about 5-7 bigger white lines. on my door. minor scuffs that done really come off my rear quarter panel.
As for the dent, i'm checking my options as of now. I think i might just leave it be. It doesn't show up much only from a reflection point of view. thanks guys i'll definate take a look at the link.
Anyone have ideas how much the dent might cost to remove? $200's ?
