clay bar storage?

as post says, how do you guys store your clay bar? zip lock bag? or does it need to breathe? I would think zip lock so it wouldn't dry out. thanks in advance, doing full detail today, around 60 outside, couldn't resist.

Zip lock, or any other air tight container is best.

Zip lock for sure, I tried using the plastic wrapper it came in, but the next time I went to use it, dirt had built up on the areas I didnt cover and had to toss away most of the bar.

I'd say keep it in a ziplock bag. I spray a little Meguire's Quick Detail in there to keep it from drying.

Another option would be one of those small resealable Tupperware (or Glad) dishes.

on the tupperware

Ziplocks are o.k, but be sure to keep it in a fairly cool place. I put a bar in a zip lock bag once, kept it in my garage during the summer and it turned to mush. I ended up chuckin it.
