A true detailing shop, that costs between 89 and 150 bucks should take the mats out and steam clean them, but in the detailing section theres a good way of doing it yourself. I tried it, just take the mats out and go to the carwash, spray with a carpet cleaner like resolve or even a car carpet cleaner, blast it with high pressure soap and then a LOT of rinse water, then let them dry in the sun for a day. Thats the cheapest, it just depends how much u want to spend and how much time u have to do it. I mean, for 90 bucks you can get a nice new set of OEM mats, or for 30 you can get a regular set from autozone. whatever you wanna do man

I've also noticed most of those coin-op car washes have mat clips on the wall so you can keep them off of the ground while you clean them.

Shampoo the rugs with scalding hot water and a 50/50 mixture of laundry detergent (powder) and Arm&Hammer baking soda. Scrub very well, then either steam them or power hose them to all hell. Let dry completely, then use a surface cleaner (spray can carpet cleaner, Castle brand Velour cleaner) and a damp rag to wipe up any excess dirt from the surface of the mats.
