debadged
debadged
ok, its been two months since i debadged my trunk but there are still white residue that remain. i have used goo gone and i wash and waxed the car often but it still remains. is there anyway to remove the remaining glue?
becarefull when rubbing stuff over the glue that remains...grit gets stuck in the glue and if your rubbing on it you could cause scratchs. (happend to me. it still says se on my trunk from the right angle).
no scratch way:
i used a hair dryer to heat up the glue then scraped everything i could off with my fingernail...hit it with some nailpolish remover and a mf cloth lightly rub any excess away. wash then wax the spots u hit with the np remover.

I used a dab of rubbing alcohol on a rag to wipe off the residue. After rinsing off the excess alcohol with another clean and damp rag, I use a little rubbing compound to buff off whatever's left (if I need to).
The "Farmer's tan" will go away once it's been exposed to the elements for a few months.
Good luck and enjoy your new look.

you can use this. it works really well for me with any sappy crap on my car and worked especially well for my debadging...
i use it a lot for bug and tar on the front bumper and skirts
