A Good Foam gun?

OK so who makes the best foam gun?
The one that goes on the pressure water is nice but that's just too much for me right now.

the ones that runs from the hose looks a bit weak....lacks foam.

is there one that runs off an air compressor and the water hose?

Check Autogeek.net, they sell foam guns. I've purchased quite a bit of stuff from them already.

right i'm aware of autogeek and autopia and tons of other sites.
have YOU used these foam guns? do they spray foam as well as advertise? i hear mixed reviews about them.

the foam/soap attachements on a pressure washer i hear is a lot better...but i can't swing that right now.

It's nowhere near a foam gun, but have you tried the Mr. Clean Autodry? I still use it every now and then using my own soap, without the filter.

Hey Dan,

I haven't used one personally but I see alot of guys including detailers using the hose guns. I suggest using Phil at Detailers domain. Delivery times are awesome for NY and customer service is A#1.

No affiliation, just always been impressed.

Captree soon?

Hey Brett...i actually bit the bullet and took one for the team and picked up the foammaster gun.

it was late so i didn't really get a chance to play w/ the settings too much...but it looks good. foams up but i have to play w/ the settings since it's a little watery so the foam doesn't stick to the car for too long but i'm sure if i can get the settings right it would foam up really well. it doesn't foam like the pressure washer guns but i think for the cost and effort it does shoot out decent amount of foam.

yeah i see Phil on audizine and saw some of his work and products. he's in NJ so delivery should be quick...but some of the products is a little steep for me at the moment.

captree...maybe for 09 when life settles down a little for me.

i've used the autodry...it's "ok" but the soap that it comes with the unit is too thin. it seems a bit watery and doesn't seem as sudsy as soap + bucket. in a pinch i would just use the filtered water so i don't have to dry too much...other than that it's a so so product for me. i usually end up mixing my bucket of car wash and washing it like normal and using the auto dry filtered water to rinse.
