tempature big difference??????

today i dynoed my car and with my mods i got a 158/167 i was pretty disappointed and my car has been well maintained and the a/f graph looked like it was runnin in good condition. the only think i can think of to make my run that bad is the tempature. im not sure of the humidity but its florida rather high. and the tempature the machine gave was 94 degrees so is this the reason for my crappy run.

btw my mods

Easy rule of thumb is for every 10deg diff you gain/lose 1% hp. Assuming your an auto and the same run on a 54deg day would net maybe 166/175 (9%/7% better than stock).

Were those figures SAE or STD corrected? If they were then they're already adjusted for conditions. Looking at today's weather in Tampa I'm guessing you pulled in late afternoon with 50% hum, 30.1x on the baro, and maybe 50' elev. Converting to raw figures = 160/170. Drop to 54deg in the calc formula and I figure 167/177. Again it comes out about 5%-6% higher.

Temperature did hurt you a little but so did the 18" wheels a bit.

thanks for the input. yeah i dynoed around 2 or 3 in the afternoon so it was rather hot and you could really feel the humidity so im am guessing that was the biggest factor.

i knew the wheels would hold my back too but i didnt think it the wheels would make me perform that poorly

btw i am 5 speed
