That is with a 75 shot! timing retarded 2 degrees, F5CAI, Greddy SP-2 catback exhaust and Kinetix intake manifold and 5speed Auto. No engine work, No headers. No cams, No UDP and No SAFC.

i think that shiny intake is robbing your power, cause you should make more than that off the juice with those mods and def more than that with the 75 shot. nice power, just doesnt add to a 75 shot. should be at almost 280whp

What did the rest of the maximas dyno? Perhaps your dyno you were at dynos low, because those numbers off the bottle arent super impressive, but your 1/4 mile times are!

Perhaps the dyno tends to a read a bit lower, who knows.

There were 2 5.5 gen 6spds at the same dyno, same day, back to back. One of them dynoed 255hp/25xtq and the other dynoed at 265/26xtq. My 07 HR Z dyno'd 290/254tq.

I really do believe hte Kinetix is robbing his power. But you guys also have to realize his timing is retarded 2 degrees.

All that really matters is his 1/4 et's and trap speeds. Its about the norm for his power levels.

I doubt that dyno read low... here are the two 5.5s who were there:

2degrees timing does not equal 10hp(or more)

Hmmm i wonder if this is proof that the kinetix doesnt do much if at all anything positive?

On another note, i wanst sure what the other maximas had dynoed, if they were all lowish then one would assume the dyno may read low, but the other numbers seem to be right up there so perhaps it is just the kinetix.

No one said it equaled 10hp+ Due to the 2 degree retard. I doupt his car would dyno much more then a stock 6th gen. Only bolt ons he has is exhaust, intake, and a plenum that has been known to lose power.

i think its time to dump the kinetix, you wouldnt be the only person to lose power with it

You guys think that the SSIM would help him out, or be equivalent to the Kinetix?

That's the furthest I've ever seen a stock rev limit VQ go. . It looks as if it holds power out there pretty good. It's hard to say w/o any definitive proof (said manifolds in a direct comparison). Even if it does give small gains, I'm keeping my 800$.

thank u very much.

I agree with the general consensus here, Kinetix pretty caca has to go. Sell it and just SSIM the stock IM. You can do more useful things with the $800 spent on that IM

Graph is pretty small but was the NA torque really 208 or so? Couldn't tell for sure but if so, ouch....
