Seems like a contradictory statement considering your issue.

You car is quick & powerful, no doubt. I was just a slight bit defensive when you mentioned derogatory comments re: A32B folk, such as Jime, as he is as quick & powerful you.

I apologize.

THe problem wasnt narrowed down really... i changed all the timing hardware and the car ran like a champ again. Pulled hard all the way to redline Etc...

I was supposed to get the EU installed and tunned 2 weeks ago but my transmission took a ****.

Last week i installed a HLSD 6speed trans from a 6th gena nd bought a spec stage 3 clutch .. everythign running me close to $1500. So this put me back 2-3 weeks from the tune.

The car even though pulls harder... its not as fast as B4. I use to be able to pull 2-3 cars on my buddies STI with I/E . This is B4 my cams...
We did a run and we were neck and neck.... i think tunning is to blame... since the cams my A/F has been all over the place... leaning out.. then riching etc...

I will report back when the car gets tunned with dyno sheets

You dont know how bad i wanna dyno tune.... Now heres another thing that i think might throw me back a week or 2... ive heard talk that the A33B ECU is self learn. There are members who have TUnned there car Via EU and AFC's and after 2 months the car has gone back to factory settings... they say if i tune my car via the EU it was last only a while... and the only way to get rid of this is to drop in a TS ECU then tune...

How true is this ? If so..... **** gatta give TS a call for a ECU.

You heard wrong, the A33B ECU is not selflearn for WOT (MAF) bursts, only the A34 +.

You should be calling TS anyhow for an extended rev limit and altered CVTC map.

lol. im thinking he wanted to get a TS ECU so that he could lock in the WOT parameters for his A33B. im wondering how this myth about the a33b overriding WOT changes came about.

i know with an afc my car would some how void my tune. it would constantly adjust to the point i had to keep adding fuel. i use to have my settings at 0 and memorize my fuel setting and adjust them before a race for optimum performance. im currently gonna try the AEM FIC. not sure if any maxima's have tryed it. but it apparently works for the 350z..

there was something WRONG with either your car or your AFC then. ive been running the same numbers on my vafc2 for well over a year now and im still managing to be right where i want to be. either something was changing with your setup or your afc. you were probly coming up to a stuck injector or something along those lines

Thanks for the info... i guess time to save up a little..

THey told me $300 to install the EManage Ultimate and like another $350ish to tune with raised rev limiter , gov taken off etc etc... Also looking forward to putting Meth injection on the car since i have a short ram sucking in hot air this should help cool down everything REAL NICE... Gimmi 2-3 weeks guys, ill have it all in and tuned with files and all.

i do have the spacers.

Theres a N/A Altima SE-R running around here with Meth and he claims to have gained like 11whp on the dyno tunned with meth.... Hence i went ahead and decided to go with it as well... i guess ill try the EU install and tune for now, wait a little bit and then try out meth and see if that holds true.

I have lots o mods minus the meth injection and hope to at least break 255.

IMO, you can't claim NA if you're 'spraying C2H5OH (oh wait... that's Ethanol)...

Stop fronting. If you're into refilling bottles you might as well spray nitrous in there and get 1000000 x's the benefit.
