so now that you have tested it, is there anything that you would try differently if you could go back or have another crack at it?

 

The design i made was about as good as I could do given the constraints, no regrets.

If I go back and do another, it will have a 350z LIM and a full custom UIM with runners of my chosen length so that I am not constrained to the same torque/HP peak as the stock manifold gets.

 

what are you waiting for then? go find you a 350z lim and get started...

 

Already have great results here. The 350z LIM and full custom UIM setup would definitely require a higher rev limiter to show much benefit, anyway. That won't be until after the cams and supporting stuff. It would also require a much greater monetary investment for materials and a bigger time investment. All in due time...

Now go put an exhaust on your slow 4th gen and quit pestering me so you can actually beat me down the track.

He made 276 before the cams, which seems about right for the mod list.

 

Adding mods idk of any secret... if there was any I'm sure they would've found it out at maxus in NYC..... IMO it just takes the correct selection of mods, and the track times require more than just power but also skill at shifting and track prep. I've never actually stripped my interior or pulled the PS for the track, but may give it a shot soon.

Well I did have nitromethane injection for this dyno. Dom warned me that I would blow myself up, but I knew I could handle it.

On removed is cuz his fromt mount wouldn't fit. I removed mine because the screws were rusted and was making a loud squeaky noise..it wasn't by choice. They don't weigh anyting and was a waste of time
