Im not sure what ima do at this point. Might tune with utec just to go back to dyno and see how it runs. Even though that wont help with EVT not being hooked up. Edit, your wanting to go 350z haltech right?

Quote: If you can do a intake close to 3.5" with the MAf thing built in and the pcv built it then ill def buy it.
I bought a custom length intake from knights, then had a local iron shop fab up the maf block for me. Total cost 60 bucks out the door from them. If you buy it from him and have it sent here I can knock that out for you as well and even powdercoat it gloss blacc for u.
Only have gloss black and clear. Waiting on candy and Chrome powders now.

UPDATE
Went back to the dyno to see how its running! More normal graph now!!

280hp / 253 tq (uncorrected was 283/255)

notes: changed rev limiter to 7200, didnt make utec correction after 6900 rpm, afr was 14's+ up around there. The run was with cutout taken off! LOUD!

Best thing from going back is seeing the 5k to 6k gains! was making 180hp at 5.2k now making 245 ish. car runs so much better then it did before.

This only on utec tune, timing not messed with much, mostly fuel. NO EVT hooked up still!

Comparing my best run on the first dyno trip to todays!

goal is get close to 300 on stock cams as possible!!!

I really like how the power is not falling off too badly after 6k!!! on the street it really pulls till redline, well if im not spinning! the cold road around here have me spinning quite a bit in 2ed now.

im still not shifting hard at all! Still a good way to go with the car but its getting there!

If you get a UD pulley that would help free up some power, can't remember if you got intake spacers or not and perhaps deleting the VIASs and getting BOPS for both? I thought you were going with the Haltech ECU?

The 02 ecu is currently controlling them, i might do something with intake manifold stuff later on

I wont be getting a ud pulley, if anything a ATI damper, which is not needed really, so ill leave it stock. Its running stock intake manifold setup.

I might eventually run a haltech but utec was easy and cheap. Ive got all this osiris ecu swap stuff too, thats what ima try and run next.

Yeah! The new graph shows how crappy it was running before! Im hoping it will make NA history! Far as dyno and track! Im a noob at the track so i dout times will be worth a crap for a while! hahaah I actually might get a Custom I/m but that would be WAYY down the road.

Im just in the early stages of this! The tuning is street done, and the motor still isent 100% right. no EVT hooked up either (which could be hurting overall power some, or not)

I have not seen a dyno run of a EVT equipped motor, working then with it unplugged. So im really dealing with a LOT of unknowns with this motor. It will take more time to get it figured out. But when its figured out, this motor is a improved DE version, so there should definitely be gains over the older DE's

Overall dyno dont mean a whole lot anyway when comparing to others. What im interested in is comparing my car to itsself. The first time i went compared to this time is TOTALLY different!

Oh also, look at how the power is so flat from 5800 to 6800 it does fall after that but i think its due to the utec tune in that area (i changed redline and didnt change fuel in utec map)

^ haha hoping to get this Z ecu with osiris in actually! Got the car on jack stands for a lil bit tho. Tidying some stuff up. Moving my battery ground (its in trunk now) checking things over, adjusting the coilovers up, for my wheel change. Going with G35 18's painted gunmetal with 245 45 18 KDW's Looking to get Z Forged Tracks tho hopefully!

Compared to my first dyno trip, its totally different!

Once i get EVT hooked up and more tuning, we will see what its really doing!

Even now 5700 to redline is a lot better then 02 with a regular i/m, shows the stock 09 flows good uptop

Ghustle I don't know what you consider a regular 5.5... If you're using JP and my custom IM dyno runs for "regular", that's kinda silly.

A regular VQ35DE with the same boltons (and even same UTEC) that he has looks more like this.

Sure he made more power, I'm just saying the way it climbed was the sam as a "regular" 5.5.... not hating on the swap cause I do love it, I just don't see how it climbed oh so much faster, but eh
