I think 245 is a good choice traction wise. I'm gonna run a reverse staggered setup on my car once I buy summer tires..

is he buying the G18's to track or drag race?????????........................... if thats the case then the whole setup is a bad choice.... traction to me was more on the tire rating and thread percentage of the tires, but o.k.....

you are going to hate that... the drive is going to be some trash but, seeing as though ive never tried it... goodluck to you on that one

Looks good, I went with 245/40 front and 245/45 rear on my current 18x8" setup, and I like it and I agree thick tires>thin tires.

i agree with the tire statement to an extent... i do like a tire ti have a lil meat on em depending on the drop... i dont really go for meaty tires on larger wheels, just me... the stock 225/45 seemed perfect for a 5.5 to me but i understand we all have different taste where thats concerned n i respect that

didn't the monte carlo SS (supercharged FWD) come stock with wider tires in the front then rear?

Yea so did the Grand Prix iirc its not a bad thing at all but I rather just match the rear up as well, that way you can still rotate the tires.

Even though now I can't lol maybe I'll throw the 245/45 in the front
