Wow... Yet another one of these arguments. Comparing one car's dyno numbers to another without it being same day same dyno or at least same dyno same atmospheric conditions is just plain dumb. So what if the dyno read 259whp? What matters is the curve and, if testing changes, the gains made.

The best way to get accurate HP numbers that can be compared to other cars is going to be at a track, but then you're still having to take into account the weight of the car, atmospheric conditions, wind, driver skill... For example another user posted a 13.1@108 recently. If you just compare that to my 12.6@108 you'd say we had the same power. However, I had full interior and ~100lbs of tools in my car during my run while he stripped his car down to a driver seat.

Funny how no one talked trash to SPARKS when he did 285hp with his custom manifold, telling him he put another car dyno on his chart or saying he did a 1st gear pull, bla bla bla.......

You don't have to believe it. I don't care. YES...the NUMBERS ARE HIGH...isn't that the point?? 259HP hate all you want!! I learned alot and put alot of time researching what to put on my car.....AND when I get my custom IM built with LRMAF and 3.5" intake tubing and a TUNE it will be EVEN MORE....might even pass sparks!! So continue HATING it motivates me just like the G35 in my rear view mirror
Again, that SSIM car that made 279 WHP is not likely within 7WHP of my own. Different dynos, conditions... etc. I'm sure if I went around to a few local dynos, I could find one that tells me I'm making over 300whp. Does that matter, though?

If you think that by making numbers higher than mine with your next round of mods it will make you faster, don't be so sure. I'm not trying to be cocky here, but how are you to know that your 300whp on that dyno isn't the same as 286 whp on my dyno?

But of course everybody thinks their car is a factory freak, and if thats the case well its pointless to contunie trying to talk to you.
I know where you're coming from and all crusher... but 10-15whp difference between 2 different dynos is commonplace.

If he had cams i would believe but the fact that he doesnt, this car is untuned and im quite sure this is a 3rd gear pull.....

That is a full bolt on car TUNED. So this guy is making MORE torque than it? R.I.P to Bish, but cmon man this is just BS. That tq gave it away.
Crusher you're looking at SSIM vs non SSIM. It's normal to see a huge difference in peak HP but a loss in peak torque.

By the way, and just as an addition to the conversation... This is what my car made Tuned with stock MAF, 3" short ram, vias deleted stock IM on the exact same dyno that I made the 286whp pass on. The torque to HP relationship is right on for what ranmas made. Now the numbers might not match up... I can guarantee you that my 264whp in this run is not very close to the 259hp in his, regardless of the fact that the numbers are close. Same dyno same day I would expect around a ~15 whp difference tune vs no tune.

Wow....I left this post long time ago. Look at all the garbage on here now. I don't have to prove anything to anyone. You see the sheet. You see the numbers. Argue and bicker and fight all you want who cares. Really disappointed in SOME people in here. Like I said it was a 4th gear pull. Dont believe it? Oh well....then you have a problem not me. Thanks for ruining my post. I wont be returning....so bicker all you want. I wont even be looking at the responses. So have fun. I'll post in moderated section next time so I don't get all this BS.

You have to understand every dyno is going to read different there never going to throw out the same numbers, I saw my friends 02 as i posted above on a mustang dyno mind you put down 279 whp, Which i don't think is too much of a long shot i mean he had Place Racing real CAI, TS L-Spec re-flash, SAFC II,Goodwin Motorsports Upper and Lower port matched IM, BOP, Spacers, Hotshot headers , Fastcat, 3'' Cattman, 7200 rpm rev limit, I don't know why it's so hard to belive. Not sure if this particular dyno is B/S but there are cars out there that make that kind of power bolted all you have to do is And if like you said all you do is research the VQ35's and there dyno #'s im calling that b/s because you would have came in mine and my buddies dyno threads and do what your doing now.

After the way the OP acted, getting butthurt and making immature remarks, I don't care if he puts down 300 whp I can't respect him. He posts to get feedback then can't handle it, pathetic in my book.

Says the guy comparing a SSIM curve to a vias delete and calling shenanigans because the torque is higher on the vias delete one...

Is this dyno bull**** too, crusher?

I think Ranmas should do it. He's got nothing to lose, If it were me id do it. You do realize crusher if he does it again and makes the same power give or take a few that would be an all time ultimate backfire...C'mon Ranmas where you at ?

Honestly who cares if it's 10hp high? A lot of performance shop dynos will read a little high.
