Interesting, after my back and forth fighting with my vtcs, j realised that stephenmax drills his pretty nicely for 3.0 timed vehicles, a few degrees advanced so low end doesnt suffer, but going with more agressive cams wont help much though is the setback i see here.

Ghustle is still very wrong vtcs on our cars do not add peak power, hell if i could set my cams at a certain angle (or spin my motor to 7600) i wouldnt even care much for em.

Only way to make power with vtcs is to tune em, which is not cheap and nets little gains when compared to the money spent.

 

Good job! Go to the track now, I want to see what you will run making a little more power than me now.

 

lol.. thanks.. it took 2 years because i dont live for my car or for race, this is my passion and my hobby.. so dont get mad.. let see this in other way.. if you didint guesstimate the lucky 270 and would work hard for it.. considering that i am in Puerto Rico and my car is the second 4.5 max here.. the first one was done by me and a buddy but that one is full stock.. there are some sentras 3.5 here but all i done myself is because this forum an this threads..

No offense but me guesstimating that 270whp isnt surprising to me.. Ive done this plenty with vq motors.. Ask the few that knows me... The overall numbers is great and i really do applaud you, now if you want to add a bit more pep in its step.. Swap over the rest of the 3.5 stuff

 

Nah he doesnt need to do that what he needs is to go Stand alone(nistune or megasquirt). The 3.0 equipment is fine as long as the cam timing is setup correctly.

well thats something to be consider.. only thing is to gather all the parts for a full swap..

 

well i have a microtech ltx12 on my garage waiting to be installed.. i have it all figure it out to make it work but thats something on my to do list..
