01 Supercharged Merlot 328hp 305tq

I finally got the car running descent today and figured i would get it on the dyno mostly to check A/F's but was curious what it would do for numbers also. I am picking up the graphs Monday or Tuesday because the printer ran out of paper I did 3 pulls this one being the best of the three. Car only hit 7.5 psi on an 11 psi pulley so i think my next to do is chasing down a vacume leak and run it again. And it was on a Mustang Dyno.

Nice numbers, I forgot what it used to put down from the previous owner, I know you put some dough to get it running the way it was supposed to...

Previous owner put down 301 on a Dynojet but that's when it was an automatic. I def did hav to put some money into it but for once it runs awesome and im happy with it.

NICE BRO!!! You got ES bushings in the motor mounts and subframes? That engine was shaking like crazy when he let up.

you have and adjustable fuel pressure regulator to compare the amount of boost on your gauge is showing to the amount of fuel psi youre getting? 328hp 305tq seems correct for 11 psi on a basic setup.. gauge maybe not reading right... 7 psi i dont think you would have seen 300 whp??? maybe??

aic i don't have an adustable fpr but my gauge in the car reads 7psi @ full boost. I had my friend plumb his auto meter gauge that he uses for dyno pulls into a different vacume source to confirm it during pulls. Both gauges read 13/14 warmed up on the vac side which is why i think there is a vac leak somewhere. I have seen 11psi before as well. I visually checked and smoke tested the IM and charge piping a couple months back and didn't find anything. I noticed the s/c belt is pretty loose but no squeeling at all or odd noises so it's got me stumped.

yeah something definitely doesnt add up.. try a nother vac source , i had the same deal on my car, gauge was showing 15 psi when the car was running 20+ -_- but the numbers dont lie, maybe im wrong but 320+ whp on 7 psi blower setup in a 3.0 doesnt seem correct..

I know that's weird, It doesn't seem to be slouching at all so idk. Where would you recommend tapping into ??

somewhere right off the intake, not too divided already, maybe even tap and tread 1/8 npt an entirely fresh source off the intake, but that shouldnt be necessary

This was the best i could come up with for now. This was one of the runs where you can see boost, timing and a/f's. You can see later in the pull where boost starts to drop off after 5500.

I hit 345 whp and 295 tq at 13.4psi. So if you did that at 7psi, my god it would be an animal at 11psi

Nice numbers. When I only got a text from you after the first pull and then nothing else, I thought you were too heartbroken to let me know your final number. lol.

Why is your boost dropping off? It should be rising with the rpm and you should have peak HP at the redline with a 00VI

I think it drops a pound or so after 5500 because the belt is slipping as it is pretty loose and i just haven't gotten around to snugging it up, But the three or more pounds before 5500 im loosing i have no idea. Checked vacume lines via smoke test and visual and came up short. Both the gauge in the car and on the dyno confirm 7 psi and then a drop off. Both also register 12/13 @ idle so i have no idea what's going on.

I'd take that all day too. 328whp and 305wtq at only 7psi, it'd be around 375whp at 11psi

When I dyno'd it on a legit Dynojet way back when it was an automatic, it only pulled 301whp and 250wtq because the torque converter and clutches in the auto trans was smoked. They called it the torqueless wonder because of that dyno

I'm Happy with the numbers but i almost feel there right for that setup even though two gauges confirmed 6.5psi @ redline so idk. Both also read 12/13 on vac side @ idle which is low so who knows. The belt is kind of loose so ill snug that first and then try a boost leak test. If it pulled anywhere close to 375 id ****..
