I went to AutoZone today to get a S6941 oil filter and the price has dropped to $3.99, making this filter an even better value. It was $6.99. Between the current Pep Boys Castrol GTX deal going on right now and this filter, look no further for the best value for VQ30 oil changes.....
My spreadsheet now has an updated picture/comments on this particular filter, which appears impressive.
Use this on a 2k+ VQ30 Maxima at your own risk, as some report rubbing against the wheel well splash shield.
The only concern I have now is if a manufacturing change has caused the filter to not only drop in price but also be of cheaper quality.
