Redline tranny oil

I know it's been talked to death, but I just changed my manual transmission oil over to redline MT-90. Prior to this I had a "problem" shifting into second gear when it was cold, and even in moderate temperatures it was never really smooth.

What an improvement! Feels like a new transmission! Now we'll see in tomorrow how much it improves the "cold oil" problem. If it's thermal properties are what they say they are, it should be pretty good.

My transmission shifts like a whole different car with the MT-90 inside when it's cold. I can hardly believe the difference. Today it was below zero when I went to work and shifter was smooth as can be. It used to be like shifting through molasses in really cold weather like this.

Got mine from myoilshop.com as well. I will buy from them again too. Great prices and they shipped it the day I ordered.

Don't mean to jack your thread but how well does Redline MT-90 protect the tranny compared to the OEM fluid??

I switched to MT90 a week ago and am experiencing a big problem with it slipping out of 4th and 3rd gear when i hit the gas or a big bump. When I first went to drain it I tried the 3/4th gear check spring location first and then realized i was wrong when a spring came out....so I reassemble. At first I thought somehow I had lost the check ball so ordered another one and tried to install without draining the tranny today...new ball went it fine but now I cant shift into 3rd or 4th at all so I am guessing I have 2 ***** inthere...so tomorrow I will take one back out....just cant figure out what the heck is going on...any suggestions???
