Since I am away for College and don't have any tools or time, I am going to wait until summer when i go back home. Until then I'll pay $26 for an oil/filter change at a Valvoline Store.
I will be doing my first oil/filter change this summer. Tell me how it goes, and good luck.

well, i changed my oil today and changed the filter, it was kinda messy i guess since its my first time, and the hardest part was to take the filter out, that took like 10 minutes, i also changed my oil to mobil 1 supersythetic 5w/30, the filter was a oem 5280-9e000, so im pretty happy about it and from now on ill be doing my own oil changes

changed my oil two days ago with mobil 1 ss 5w-30w, was thinking of going 10w but i'll wait till it gets hotter and the discontinued oil filter. first time doing it myself.

Mine was piece of cake, I didn't need any tools cept the ones I was born with. took 15-20 min. only reason took that long was that I wanted ALL the old oil to come out. From now one i'm also doing it myself, piece of mind of knowing what you did to your max. In the long run I save myself about $2 - $4 doing it myself compared to the oil place I went to (walmart) doing the same thing but with fram filter
