Higher Mileage Oils? Worth it or Not?
Hey guys,
I was wondering if any of you out there used those oils for "higher mileage" cars. They supposedly condition your seals and stuff. Anybody believe in and use this stuff? I have 150,000 miles on my Max and have been using the regular ol Penzoil Dino stuff regularly. No oil leaks or anything, but just read this oil article on www.canandiandriver.com today. Not sure what I think about it. What do you guys think?

My car has over 200k miles. I've never used any "high milegage" oils. Mine never leaks or burns any, so I don't see why I might need it.
I did recently switch from Castrol GTX to Mobil 1 synthetic for the longer change intervals.

130000 miles i used Castrol GTX High mileage once and it was very good. No rattle at start-up and throttle response was excellent. Engine ran smooth too. Big difference to the GTX dino.
At 135000 miles i switched to Amsoil so i couldn't give you any long term use advice for the high mileage oil.
