Maintenance List?
Maintenance List?
Hey, I'm trying to find the list of all the maintenance procedures to do, and at what mileage... I came across is a couple weeks ago, but can't find my way back to it. Can someone link me?

You should be looking in the 5th Gen Forum, not Fluids and Lubricants. The maintenance schedules may be posted somewhere on the website, but I don't know where.
I strongly suggest you buy a Haynes Manual. They are only about $20 and are an invaluable resource for the maintenance of your vehicle. The maintenance schedule s are contained in them as well as in the owner's manual.
Try www.nissanusa.com. Look under Owners, then under Vehicle Care, then under Maintenance Schedule, then key in the mileage of your vehicle.
The first service of any consequence is typically at 30,000 miles, then 60,000, then 90,000 etc.
I am a believer of changing the fluids routinely. This applies to oil and filter every 3750 miles, unless you are using synthetic oil. The radiator coolant and transmission fluid should be replaced every 30K. A full automatic transmission flush should probably be done at 60K and say 120K. Power steering fluid should be replaced periodically.
Other routine maintenance - air filter, inspections of drivebelts, exhaust system, suspension, steering etc.
Read the FAQs and Stickies in the 5th Gen Forum to avoid being flamed.
Good luck!

are you just buying your car? if so, i'd recommend a full tune-up, because you don't know how the previous owner took care of it. otherwise, i think you can get an owner's manual in pdf format at nissanusa.com, under the owner's section. it'll tell you the maintenance schedule for your car.
no I have had this max for over a year now....
I did an auto tranny flush and new fluid @ 60k... use mobil1 5w30 synthetic with new oil filter every 3k, just changed my pcv valve, and have a serpentine belt sitting at home that I'll change as soon as I find out how
Oh and I just changed my pads and rotors... I just hit 70k miles a couple days ago and want to ensure everything is being maintained properly.
The owner I bought the car from left me all paperwork from everything that was being serviced... so I have a good idea.

Well than what is your concern? Did the previous owner have a major service done at or around 60K and have the spark plugs been changed? When was the last time the radiator was flushed?
Unless you are doing all city driving, you are wasting money changing the synthetic oil every 3K. One benefit of switching to synthetic is being able to extend the oil change interval to say 5K.

Well I bought the car with 56,500 miles on it.... my TCS Off, ABS, and SLIP lights just came on- so it looks like I'm in for new ignition coils. I'm going to change the spark plugs while I'm at it..
Yeah I was considering doing that too
