3k have passed after I first changed my engine oil the day I bough the car. Now, since I have time to do some research and not put what ever oil my local shop has I am seriously considering synthetic oil. Here is where I got stock, I can not find any place where I would get explanation of which oil viscosity is better and what exactly make is better?
Any feedback is appreciated.

 

whatever your owner s manual says, which is probably 5w 30

 

Is there something better for winter or summer driving? 'cause 5w 30 is standard and for some specific temperature and mileage something different could be more preferable.

 

Why not read the while oil and what viscosity sticky thats at the top of the forum?

 

b/c Stickies are too informative and too easy to access? some are just used too "tell me what I need to know now b/c research is too hard for me"

 

Stick with 5w30 year round in your climate. You can't go wrong with Mobil 1 5w30 and a Mobil or Nissan OEM oil filter. Alternatively use Purolator PureOne, WIX or Napa Gold oil filters.
