New Mobil 1 Filter?

I stopped at auto zone to pick up an oil filter so i can do an oil change, and the Mobil 1-110 now comes as an "extended life" filter. Does anyone know a difference between that and the regular old 110 that they use to sell? I am guessing that it's the same filter, just in a new color, and higher price....

The old M1 filters also had cellulose, synthetic, and glass fibers. I doubt there's any difference, just slick marketing and an excuse to charge a buck or two more.
