Supertech Synthetic

Anyone use it? I just changed my oil with it, half the price of mobil 1 which i had been using. I change my oil every 5,000 miles.

Go ahead and use it. It will do fine with 5k OCI. For the price, it is good oil.

i read somewhere on bitog that the supertech oil worked well upto 3000 miles and then after that the oil properties started to break down. or something allong those lines. i don't remember if it was lab tested, but i think it was as i wanted some information based on testing.

are you sure spartuss?

I'm a member on BITOG and have never seen that claim. It is also depends on the application the oil is used in. Some engines are harder on oil than others. Supertech dino MAY have ill effects after 3k, but def. not synthetic. 5k seems very reasonable.
