Seafoam
Seafoam
What are your thoughts on using SEAFOAM in the 5th gens? I have seen mixed reviews on this product. I DID SEARCH on google and on the org but saw older posts. My buddy who has a Lexus tried it & said it worked had better tb response.
I have seen some people say it messed up there o2 sensors & had the CEL come on... I am not trying to mess up my engine so any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated, THANKS.

My friend and I have the idea to try putting the seafoam in a spray bottle and spraying it as a mist after the MAF but just before the throttle body. That way it would be evenly spread throughout the airstream cause I feel the the brake booster line on Maxima's would biases the last three cylinders on the intake manifold.
Haven't had a problem with it in any of my vehicles, though I would only use it for what it is designed for. I do not put it in the gas tank, or oil either as 3rd gens have very finicky injectors. You should be fine running it through the brake booster, and it should reach all cylinders.
:I see this is the second thread and 3rd time you've posted this
