I'm interested too. 15,000 mile intervals has Mobil 1 beat. I saw it for $34.99 for 5 quarts at Walmart. I'm still using Mobil 1 for the moment until I get more feedback on Castrol Edge

Mobil1-EP (15K as promised on the bottle) and Mobil1 are two different beasts.
Mobil1 and PP are standouts for 5-7.5K OCIs with PP making a killing of Mobil1. Mobil1-EP was formed thanks to shortcuts taken in Mobil1 line.
Castrol Edge is in the Mobil1-EP category and way to expensive for regular use. I wouldn't want to have my maxima to be guineabig for the tall claims of Mobil1-EP and Castrol edge with 15K OCIs. Only a UOA will tell.

I put Mobile1-EP in mine last week. I still only change around the 5k/3month mark...but I got the EP for those "just in case" times when you either don't have the time or have to make a sudden out of town trip. So far it's running smooth. Just seafoamed the engine before doing it too so I'm curious how dark it will be at the next change. Looked like Tea going in.

That is nuts but I think the change intervals on those engines is much longer than on, say, a fourth gen. I think all the highway miles are easier on the oil.

Not really crazy. A good quality synthetic combined with good filters enable truckers and fleet operators to extend their drain intervals way beyond normal limits...that keeps the trucks on the road, allows operators to extend the service life of the equipment, and save money. This publication is a little dated, but its a good testimonial from an independent owner/operator using AMSOIL...409K on a single oil change:
