YOUR Garage/Workshop - Post Your Photos and Equipment!
My workbench evolving. I bought some damaged wood from lowes that the girl rang up wrong, so I go 12 2x4x10's and 8 2x4x12's for $6. I used OSB paneling 23/32 for the work top and shelf, and 2x6's for the legs. It's 99.9% level and looks pretty good.

My pegboard frame on the wall: 1x3's connected by the kreg pocket hole jig system (that thing rocks)

Went a little overboard securing the pegboard to the frame, but better safe than sorry.

Starting to accessorize

Just moved into a new house Last July
Pics of the garage all empty:

After settling in a little bit:

Kinda tough to fit 2 cars and 2 motorcycles in there.
Fit 2 cars, 2 motorcycles, 2 bicycles and sets of rims in the garage before a big snow storm. Parking like this is a PAIN as you can imagine.

Hopefully I can paint the floors soon if I can find somewhere to put all this stuff for a couple days...

Where My Max Hangs Out :)
Built this 2-car plus in 2008. Been working on the interior ever since and here is where the MAX sits comfortable everyday.....

Enjoy

looks good - now paint it black so it looks "professional"
and yes, I'm only saying that because I hate bare wood in the garage, so I paint everything I make of wood with some cheap black brush-on paint I had mixed at home depot.

I like the wood look ...
I added two sets of shelves (3 shelves total). All made out of 2x4's and OSB paneling. I was able to hang off of them when they were finished

All loaded up

This one was built second and I was very happy with the results

All loaded up

Feels pretty custom now, and I'm pleased with the results

Great job!!!
Here's my new garage after moving to FL. I probably threw out 90% of the junk that we had in NJ. That remaining 10% is in the two Walmart shelves and in the storage closet on the left. I love not having a center beam in the middle of the garage.
Meximax's Garaj Mahal
I have never showed my garage. It has witnessed most of the building and recent decommissioning of my Maxima. Its now all gone, but I wanted to share what I have been up to over these last couple of months.
BEFORE MAXIMA PART-OUT: Blower and IC were already out

GARAGE SHELVES:

MAXIMA PARTOUT CARNAGE: Walls already painted in anticipation of Garaj Mahal

MAXIMA SHELL:

BEFORE GARAGE OVERHAUL: Maxima shell already gone

INTERIM STEP: Floor sealer and added lighting, shelves still up:

FINAL PRODUCT: Epoxy floor, new lighting, e-outlets, and cabinets

They are actually the Gladiator Cadet version (i.e. the cheaper version made by StackOn). The "real" Gladiator cabinets are just ridiculously expensive. I got everything you see above for a hair over a thousand through Amazon. They have gone up in price, but still reasonable. (LINK). I got the 6-piece, but ended up hanging the rolling two-door cabinet so that way I could put a stool/chair under my table.
The Gladiator version could have been something like $2500. There are minor differences. These Gladiator Cadet version a bit narrower (by like 3/4") and they don't have magnets on the doors (just a locking pin). Also, these are painted gloss black while the exterior of the Gladiator looks powder coated. Either way, they are both welded and will take the beating just fine.

I just spent way too many late nights redoing my garage. Even through record breaking 100* heat! I didnt take any before pix but one wall was blue, the drywall had only one coat of mud, there was 1 8' light, and the floor was bare, well it was carpeted. I planned on painting the floor and hanging new lights. I ended up mudding and sanding the joints and painting everything, top to bottom. I also caulked and sealed everwhere I could to keep insects out. I added some trim to help finish it off. Finally I ran conduit for 3 outlets for the new lighting. I had the 4' lights in my old garage, which was a 2 car. I will miss the square footage for sure. Good thing I have tons of daylight basement storage.

After about a month straight, all those counless hours, I feel like I could have done a better job. 2 part epoxy paint needs wait time after mixing, I rushed that and the floor is a bit uneven. Also the flakes are very random. DONT buy the cheap 5 gallon pail of wall paint. It takes 3+ coats to cover. Finally colored cove base would have looked very nice.
Time to move the tools!
