VQ35 Brian Crower S2 camshafts

SOLD

Location: Greensboro, NC

These were ran in a built engine for less than the break in period before the original owner decided to go with much bigger cams, so they're about as close to brand new in box as used cams will ever get.

Specs are 264/264 duration, 10.82/10.82mm lift and are generally good for ~15whp peak gains (and larger under the curve gains) on a NA car while retaining a nearly stock idle, also very popular for boosted applications due to low overlap. To see dyno results on a bolton 5.5 gen maxima, check out Jay_pee99's most recent dyno thread.

I will take some pictures later on, but they look just like camshafts and will come in the original box. Prices are firm due to the amount that I paid and the general going price of these on the Z forums. I'll be leaving them up on max.org for 1-2 weeks before I post up on the Z forum to give you guys preference.

$735 shipped
$700 picked up

The absolute lowest you will find these new is just under $1000 after shipping from vivid racing, so this is 20% off for basically new cams.

Good price. I dont think they will sell here though. Some will say $700 is not worth the gain or the install I would love to see more cammed maximas but good luck either way. I hope you found the ones your really wanted

The gains can be pretty huge on F/I vehicles, especially those with stock 3.0 cams (turbo Z guys have seen upwards of 40whp peak, huge under the curve). NA cars it comes down to how far you want to go to get power. There comes a point where cams are by far the best time investment and money investment to gain more power and get the power band you want and quite a few people on these forums are at that point.

Either way, I'm not in a huge hurry to sell. I'd rather sell them here before I go to my350z.

I know someone wants these. Gains on a 3.5 are in the OP, gains on a 3.0 could be much larger since you guys start off with such wussy cams.

I'm curious why you're not using them Sparks?

These are very mild cams, I am looking to "walk on the wild side" a little.

Ooooh, Ok! The idle mannerism is probably still very stable, with a good vacuum signal......My type of mod...could see nor hear it....

There is a minor lope at idle as shown by datdude here:

Plus jay_pee99 lost ~20 torque below 3500 RPMs with solid gains from midrange to redline.

Maybe not your type of mod after all
