Intakes and MAF failures
Intakes and MAF failures ...Poll
Time for an informal poll....
If you installed an intake of any type that uses an oiled filter, be it K&N, Monster, etc, have you had problems with the MAF failing or triggering ECU codes?
Frankencar seems to be experimenting with a non oiled filter element that would eleminate any potential problems due to excess oil interfering with the MAF.
Thoughts anyone?

that Apex'i filter never needs any oiling. there souldnt be any problems if you oil the K&N correctly but even then, I heard some ppl got over oiled K&Ns from the factory. I have a cai with K&N without any problems
