New Breaks making loud noise

Two weeks ago, I had new breaks installed front and back. After 1 day, they began to make a loud, (really loud!!) squealing noise whenever I applied the breaks. Took car back to shop and was told they needed a special lubricant. Last week they began to make the noise again! Now the mechanic is telling me I need a new calibar(?). Any help is appreciated

He's using cheap pads. Go get OEM (NOT KEY VALUE) pads or some quality aftermarket pads.

No offense, but I'm a spelling nut. Breaks are for drinking coffee; brakes are for stopping a car. And oh yes, it's called a caliper.

I had the same issue when a shop did my rears. If you don't tell them what type of pad to use, they usually get the cheapest. They put some some cheap metallic pads for my rears. Eventually, I replaced them myself with Nissan pads (not key value).
