I had 1 starter go bad, but got it replaced in 3 days, no other problems since.

I don't think Max4Speed has had any issues though.

The red and blue boxes on mine weren't working, not sure if they were shorted out. Anyway, Freddie replaced them no charge, only had to pay for shipping. I highly recommend him!

Yes, you loose your high beams. But you can see so much more you rarely need them anymore.

You will get flashed a lot b/c our housings aren't meant for these and the light goes everywhere and on coming traffic flashes.

U got HID's...awesome!

If u have a bulb out try this:
Switch out the 2 starters and try again, if that doesnt work switch out the 2 ballasts and try again. If it still doesnt come on it may be a loose wire.

Is there something that could be put inside to block the light from coming up? I would like to get some HIDs, but I don't like blinding everyone.

You will need to reaim the headlights once you get the HIDs in. When I first got the HIDs in, they were definitely a bit high. Now that I reaimed them, nobody flashed me since.

yeah i got the same kind oss got. easy install, great customer service and an outsatnding product. by far a top "5" mod.

but for some reason the right side went out when i was trying to aim it. i talk to freddie and i shipped them out already. hopefully he will fix my problem.

they are defitnetly bright! i couldnt make it around the block w/out ***** flashing me. i see why manufactures put hids in projectors now.

hey eric how do you like your kybs ?

I've had mine go out a few times because of bad connections when tapping into the main 9004 harness.

since you've owned both what's the difference between the two exactly? is it just the color or is it brightness also? if it's color - in what way is it different and which do you prefer?

The main difference between the 6k and 8k is the color. The 6k was blue but with a bright super white output on the ground and cars. The 8k kit on the other hand is very blue...with a very blue output on ground and cars. Honestly, I like the 8k kit better!!! It looks so sick at night when there are no street lights and the color that is on other cars is unbelievable....im sticking w/ this kit. Ive had it on my car for about 4 days now and the cops don't seem to mind. Hope this answers your question.
