Should I shave my trunk *pic

I never really liked this look on a 3rd gen, but its kind of grown on me, Im thinking about having it done when I get my car painted and kit installed next week. Im not sure how much it will add to the bill but since its already around $3500 It really doesnt matter anymore. and I cant see it being more then a few hundred bucks.

heres a pic of how it would look.

Re: Should I shave my trunk *pic

that looks badass to me.. might be about $500 extra, having to weld a plate over it and smooth it.. but if you are already spending $3500.. might be cheaper..

looks real nice.

I have never seen it on a 3rd gen, that is for sure, special.it would look badd a@@. but i dont think the 4th gen M A X I M A would carrry to good one the 3r gen. Hey jason, try photoshopping the maxima into it see how it would look. And DO YOU. You want it and your paying for it,and like i said its unique to 3rd gens. I would like to see the end products.

Go for it. Not many 3rd gens have had it done.
I got quoted on mine to do it for 400
but all the shops refused to do it. Almost did it with a buddy but never got around to it.
If he'll do it, then go for it.

No way this guy is a pro, hes gonna take off all the handles and moldings so the paint edges will be under the moldings and handles so the wont start to chip away like alot of cars I see. So Im sure this job will be done perfect, the more and more I look at the pic the more I want to do it.

Man I seriously think you have one of the best looking 3rd Gens right now... when it comes out of the shop it will probably be the best looking 3rd Gen. And I think you should shave it, it would look awesome and you should put the '95-'96 spaced out M A X I M A letter back there too.
