Depending on the condition of your struts, they can be used for a short peroid of time. Just beware that the use of any high performance spring will cause premature wear on your stock struts. I I were you, I would just wait to install them and get some high performance struts so that I won't have to do the labor twice or pay someone to do it twice.

I have been using my stock struts since Feb. when I put the springs on, and I don't have any problems.

But your struts are also a few years newer than his.

You have a 99, so I think if you live is the suburbs you'll be fine on stock struts. I went a little while on stock struts and they held up fine.

I did get my rear stock shocks replaced before the installation of MaxSpeeds but they perform fine and the fronts have been no problem at all...I am going to be putting AGX on in a couple weeks.

The point is that your struts have much less wear than his, and that seriously affects their life.
