Supercharger Modification for belt

As I said before we are looking at cutting out a section of the SC bracket and then fabricating a new piece to fit back on. This would be up by the pulley so we can replace the belt without taking off the whole supercharger.

I would appreciate anyones thoughts or input on this matter. Changing belts is a real pain in the butt!

I will call the R & D dept. at stillin and see if they can help. Who knows? miracles happen.

Is this for the V1 or the V2? Please go all the way and make the SC pulley quick-swappable too.

What about making the pulley fast-swappable too? Is it possible and are you looking into it?

good luck getting stillen to helping you on this. no offense but they're only good for the occasional heart burn and work-related stress.

imho. if you got the smarts. put it in autocad and take it to a machine shop to get a new bracket done. if you got digital caliper then its all good.

I had to cut the center post on my V1 bracket in half so the belt would clear with a 2.67, I never had a bolt in their any ways, but no problems so far.

I'm not sure what you mean! Can you change belts without removing the supercharger from the bracket?

center bolt

i don't have the center bolt at all on my V2 bracket. anyways you still can not change the belt without removing the whole thing. it just gives us more clearance for the belts on a super small pulley.

anyways i do have an idea for changing the belt without removing the blower. give until next week and i can email you info on how it will work and its design. later.
