Put me in the club of "I believe in midpipes"

Well I spent a good deal of time today custom doing a midpipe (sorry, I didn't see the money and especially the wait for frankencar as worth it). according the butt dyno, i felt a lot of my low end come back - much smoother acceleration in the low end, before i would have to depress the pedal a little further to get it to "jump" to the next level. well as far as sound goes... it's insane! i love it! the grumble that was there with the filter only at 2k and above 4k is now everywhere above 1800...anywhere above 3500 it screams and at 5k plus its amazing. so needless to say I'm pleased. My thoughts for the night.

I agree! I installed my "custom" mid-pipe this afternoon on my '91 and although I already had a WSP Y-pipe and full exhaust I swear I felt a difference in the low/mid-range...my sound didn't get that much more louder over the exhaust but it was well worth it!

I'm gonna have to join the crowd. I want more low-mid range. Sound is not too important..unless it's at WOT. I like a quiet and smooth ride, but when I want to go nuts, I like the sporty tone and agressive ride.
