My NEW tuner came down from Austin yesterday. worked on the car for like an hour and Varooom. UncleMax started for the first time in almost a year, Sept 15 to be exact. This tuner is bad a$$ He's only seen my car for the second time and got it started. The first visit he came by and told me what was wrong. He told me what to do to fix. Came back down an started it up. I guess it helps when your in to building Turbo setup and your a eletrical engineer. Oh I'm sorry guys I'm usually pretty good about showing my spec and what I've done, but my tuner asked if I can hold out from giving out the info. But he is willing to work on some Max's. He suggested Speedpro, he sead he could get Speedpro installed in a week and running real good in a day.
But it came out to be a bitter sweet ending. when we got it to run and let it sit for like 3-4 mins it started smoking like crazy. We turned it off. Checked everything and what do you know my new Turbo is shot. It was gushing oil out the downpipe. So now I got screwed twice from my old tuner. So if you live in Houston be aware of him.
Anyway I plan to have it rebuilt ASAP and get the car my tuner to have him finish before Import Expo Sept 28.
Wooohooo can't wait!!!!!!!
Oh it sounded mean, no muffler yet and you can here the turbo whine for few seconds.

Wow, nice setup!!!
I want to do something like that, but I doubt I'd be able to pass inspection. If you don't mind me asking, what would a setup like that cost? Did you build yours with a kit or was it custom? Thanks in adavnce!
