I have a white 98 SE should i keep the gold emblems on the back or take them off.

 

Since you asked, I say take them off. Personally I don't usually like gold emblems...there are exceptions though.

 

rip them off and sell them on e-bay.

 

silver or not at all man. check harold's recent threads. he just painted his gold letters black (he has a dark car). it might look good for you to have gunmetal colored letters

yeah take them off and either paint them silver or black, if you paint them black i suggest white grill with black emblem on the outside of the grill too.

hope that helps.. I had gold, HAAAATED them, wanted chrome - settled for chrome on the front, and black on the back, and looove it that way, gives it a unique look - makes people actually have to care to know, then they can find out - maybe im stupid, oh well.. check out that link,

IMO gold emblems only look good on the super black maximas. If you could get them painted black or a gunmetal color that might look nice though. The shaved look all the way around is always good too.

 

Take em off or change the color (gun metal, chrome) IMO. I just never cared for gold trim in general.

 

I have a black 4th gen that came with gold emblems (and trunk lock) when I bought it last year. I replaced them all ASAP with silver and now I'm wishing I'd just left the back emblems off, although I don't think the trunk looks as good with just the emblems shaved. It needs the trunk key hole filled in as well.

 

I think the gold only looks good on Black, however I think the Sliver looks better on black then gold. I just dont like gold

Note: If you are confused, Harold's front Nissan symbol used to be my rear Nissan symbol

 

u should go wit the chrome emblems or shave them, because the gold emblems will start to fade in the long run.
