Ypipe / Cat problem.

So today I installed my new cattman ypipe (man its a beauty). Anyway, two things, only one is a problem. First, strange thing, when I took out the bolts from the manifold, the whole bolt came off, not just the nut. I had no idea those were screwed into the engine. Only the complete bolts came out of the second tube, not the one close to the front of the engine. Well, anyway, i jsut screwed them back in.

The problem, I broke one of my cat bolts. SO i put my ypipe on with one bolt by the cat, and it sounds like a civic without a muffler. Damnit, what can I do? Get a new cat? or pay a shop to fix mine? Which would be more cost effective. Any idea how much they'll charge me to fix taht one bolt on the cat? I'm figuring they'll jerk me and charge me like 60 bucks. Either way if i buy a new cat, I cant install it myself b/c the two other bolts on the back of the cat are rusted solid and will have to be cut off. Thanks for the info. If anyone in nyc can recommend a shop, I'd be grateful, and if you're a female, I can repay you with $ex.

Take a hammer and bang what's left of the broken bolt out of your cat and buy a new bolt and nut at a hardware store.

it's a stud and a nut on the stock cat/y-pipe connection, so you can't just "bang it out." get a muffler shop to use a torch on it, clean it out, and then get a bolt and a nut. it's a pretty simple job for a muffler shop. i paid $20 awhile ago.
