I have a 1999 Toyota Solara SE V6 and a 2001 Maxima V6 GLE. Both are autos. I am trying to decide which to modify because I only want to spend money on one. Which one would be faster with the least amount of money spent? Any suggestions/ideas are greatly appreciated.

Really be reasonable what do you REALLY think we're going to say. Most would say "stupid question". But I on the other hand do not think it was a stupid question but a good question with nievely thought out possible responses. I will say Maxima. Duh, as one migh add. which car do you value more. How long do you plan on keeping either car? Which do you drive more? It's always you that makes the decesion.......

mod the camry.. you will get TRD parts and still be under warranty form the dealership

 

mod the camry, the camry can do one thing that the max cannot. IRS <-- better on bumpy roads

I'd say the Solara, only cause it's a coupe. once you add on more power/greater handling. can we say 2dr SPORTS CAR!!!! Check out www.solaraguy.com

Then, have the GLE as the luxury 4dr with an edge. i mean, mod the max as repairs warrant.... when spring/strut/shocks go, replace with after-market. if you do it yourself then cost won't be more then replacing stock equipment. u already got a place to come and check out prices of parts and where to buy.

 

This guy may or may not have really raced a 350Z, but he claims he did. It's really funny because pretty much nobody believes that he could have possibly done so.
