Can we please make a "sticky" for the MEVI information???
With all the new guys in the fourm on a daily basis, many of us and our posts are getting slammed by questions like "what does the VI do?", "what's it cost?", what's it look like?", "why not run it at 2500rpms instead of 5000rpms?", "who sells it?", etc. This is a pretty important mod and probably is the biggest thing to happen to Maximas since the intro of the supercharger. For the sake of the new guys who aren't quite experienced enough yet to use the Search Function, I'd like to see a post that links the available sources, general install, dynos, etc for the MEVI. Anyone else agree?
I'd bet Sprint can post links galore on the VI. Probably within 5 minutes of me posting this

Don't you just hate that? Sometimes when I'm typing a reply, then click on submit, I find out it's too long. When I click back, everything is gone! Now if I think my message is too long, I just copy it just in case if it's too long and paste it the message again, but shorten it a bit.

There were times when I would view a thread and a week later try to look it up to compare info that was brought up recently. I would try "MEVI" and it wouldn't come up. I'll even try "variable" or "intake" or "manifold" in the search query box and those threads still won't come up. If someone replies in a particular thread I was looking for happened to include "MEVI", or "Variable", or etc. etc. then I might be lucky enough to find it without manually going through 8 pages of "Skyline's A$$!" and "Do you think Gen IIs will look good on my car"-type threads.
If its too much of a hassle to type 2 extra letters to label the manifold then I will again suggest to refer them as VIM, for Variable Intake Manifold. Its not only shorter than "MEVI", it will be indexed by the search engine. Also it is more "correct". Sure some Maxima enthusiast in the Middle East pointed out the manifold differences, but it is available in the UK, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, etc. I'm trying to get mine from Taiwan. When I receive it should I call it "TVI" for Taiwan Variable Intake? I don't care either way. We just need uniformity and to stick with one abbreviation that is more than 2 letters long to make the search engine more effective.

Suggestions:
1) Drop the ME as well. How about the "imported variable intake?"
2) Put this in the 4 gen forum. The 5 gen's already have this design.
3) Somebody buy me one!
