Braided stainless steel hose

Braided stainless steel hose
Has anyone replaced their stock rubber hoses (power steering, radiator, air lines, etc) with braided stainless steel flex hosing?
I have the Stillen SC and the intake and charge piping sits right next to several rubber hoses, especially the larger radiator hose, and the pipes get extremely hot when driving. I've been thinking about changing some of the rubber hoses and using the braided steel hoses from a company like Earl's Performance Products.

Mainly I want them so that the rubber hoses don't melt sitting next to the hot SC pipes. Also, I'd hope the SS hoses would reduce heat absorbtion into the fluids.
As for links, I think some companies sell the hoses in bulk, like you'd find rubber hosing at Pep Boys. You'd have to cut them and get fittings and clamps to attach them.
Earl's Performance Products.

have you heard on anyone blowing hoses because of heat? $ave yourself the headache and don't worry about it.
Besides, wouldn't ss conduct heat?

Actually that's not a bad idea, just the braided SS lines look cool.

Spectre line of SS hoses - price seems pretty reasonable - not sure on sizing though.

Here's hoping that using Nissan OEM coolant won't cause any problems with the fluid eating through the rubber on these aftermarket hoses .

Those are fuel lines in Kev's pics. Looks like #6 line. The upper radiator is like 5 times bigger.
