5th gen commercial

Anyone ever notice that the nissan max commercial with the fifth Gen "chasing" the sun has an oddity in it? The oddity being that its a 2k2 or 2k3 with the smoked 2k/2k1 SE tails?

am I the only one that noticed....

(sorry bored at work)

I've seen it. You can also tell he his shifting a 5-speed and not a 6-speed.

That commercial came out for the 2K-2K1 I think. They recycled it since some people think it's cool.

I don't think Nissan cares that a few of us ****-retentive types actually notice that it's a different model year . The average tv viewer who sees the commercial wouldn't know the difference. Sometimes I wish I was the average ignorant human. It would save me a lot of grief.

Hmm, maybe an edit to make it less obvious. The difference between the 2K\2K1 headlights and the HIDs is noticeable, maybe enough that they figured they should edit that in. Or maybe they used a 2K\2K1 with the HID conversion or a 2K2\2K3 with the taillight conversion.

My car is available for commercials, if anyone at Nissan is reading this.

It saves them money w/o having to do another commerical, and yes people like it!

P.S. But my favorite has to be the WRX commercial, Rally Sport!!

the commercial is the same as it was over a year ago. They just photoshopped the headlights in. They arent even HID, they just have the two bulb rounds. If you look again the front grill the the 2k1 as well. The back is the 2k1, and the shifter is definitely the 2k1.

All they did was change the HP flash-up and put edited photos on the front.

Smoke and mirrors my friend, smoke and mirrors.
