Are there any test that compare Amsoil v Redline, both have great info

"better" for what? It depends. Both are more than enough to protect your engine but here is one survey

I guess the bottom line is . . .
it doesn't matter what you use as long as it meets the manufacturer's specs and you change your oil/filter every 3000 miles. I've been using Mobil 1 5W-30, but I got a good deal recently on Royal Purple so I bought six cases of their 5W-30. Amsoil also makes an excellent product. You really can't go wrong with any of them.

Maybe you can fill me in on the 3000 mile thing? If you can show me some data that the engine's oil(especially synthetic) is degraded in any way at 3000 miles, I would sure like to see it. Thanks.
