BTW,
Jay,
The Yokohama AVS are W rated according to tirerack http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....artnum=34WR8DB

that's more than enough though since I doubt you'll go over 168 mph in your max. Those Sumitomo HTRs have way better ratings in all categories and are cheaper

I have Khumo's now. Just make sure your follow the scheduled maintanence (rotations, keeping psi up) b/c I hear if you don't they wear out FAST. I have them, i have about 12 k on them, and I'm about 1/2 done w/ the tread life. I follow regular rotation, and check tire pressure every weekend. I have the Z rated, and they only last at most 20K. It's a good track tire, but get something better than a 280 tire wear rating. IMHO

Does anyone know anything about the Kumho 712's I got a price of $129 each today, I also got a price on the Yokahama Parada's for $149 a tire. What Kumho's should I get that have good tred life and are around 130-150 per tire? also if not Kumho's then which kind. I have been reading good things about Kumho tires latley.

I went with a a tire that not many people talk about...BFGoodrich g-force. They are great! Tire Rack's rating system puts them right next to the Dunlop SP5000s and they are about the same price. They are great in wet conditions.
