BOV vacuum leak question

Those of you with BOV's, especially the Blitz DD, tell me if it is normal to get a small vacuum leak from the vacuum port. I bought one yesterday from a local speed shop, took it home and while playing with it put a vacuum tester on the vacuum port. To my surprise, it wouldn't hold vacuum. I then connected a vacuum line from my car engine that is teed off of my vacuum/boost gauge. It lowered the vacuum by only about 1 inch of H2O at idle, so it's not a serious issue. I blipped the throttle a couple of times while pressing against the plunger and it seemed to operate normally. Adjusting the preload screw had no effect on the vacuum leak.

I have never owned a BOV before, so I don't know if this is normal. The Bosch valve that is standard issue with my V1 kit holds vacuum just fine.

Sorry, I never vacuum tested any of the BOV's (GReddy and Blit).

I've got the Blitz DD too but I've never vacuum tested it.
Heck I still don't have a boost gauge either
