How about 97.79mph WITHOUT the VIM????? I did that WITHOUT slicks and consistently rip 97mph traps. How's that for a 4th gen at 1100' above sea level. If I come to your track, I'm certain I'd easily run 100mph+

good for you I'm so proud of you last time I looked you were stuck in the 15's with you wonderful VIM. I know its the weather and you car was messed up and you higher above sea level. Did I mention you were special. You join phatguy with your childish posts. I didn't see you nailing neal when he ran 13.999 with slicks. I was trapping 96 on my other runs off the slicks and all I have is intake and UDP. You go on with you bad self with your BUT IF 100+ traps.

The rims did something for him. You cant't argue with physics.. Lighter wheels with less rotational force do indeed help a car get to the end of a 1/4 mile quicker..

Cute.

You had said you NEVER heard of a NA 4th gen running 98mph in the 1/4 mile without the aid of slicks. I proved you wrong and stated I went 97.79mph (close enough to 98mph). What's the big deal? Where in my posts am I "childish"? Please show me.

You ran a 13.9 which is damn good for a Auto, but dont be arrogant about it. A 13.9 isnt a real fast time in general.

In general to what exactly? That's a darn good time for a NA 2k2 automatic Maxima. I hope you're not saying that a 13.9 sec Maxima isn't fast compared to a Corvette Z06 for example. Then of course it's not that fast. You can't compare apples to oranges. Not sure if that's what you meant.

I hope I wasn't coming across as arrogant to anyone. I never once said my car was faster than any other max on this board but some people come in here giving me $hit saying you cheated or it isn't fair this and that. To tell you the truth I was pretty darn happy with my 14.33 @ 96.55 on street tires for my mods.

Blu,
Everyone knows you're an a$$hole - you just disguise it well

Of course I'm kidding. You are arrogant but it's a good thing. If you weren't you wouldn't have pushed so hard to break into the 13's.

There is something special about your car, though. I got 14.8 on the first run and had catastrophe after that. Never got to run when the track warmed up but don't think I'd have made a 14.3 even with my .718 R/T. Your runs were amazing at the track Friday. I have some video, but I don't think Carl got the 13.9 with the board lights. He did get the midpipe thing, I'm pretty sure.

Anyone that has met Matt will know he doesn't bullshiat - he's lowkey and he is arrogant if he needs to be. I like that combo better than a loudmouth.

It WAS a great night to be an Auto 2K2!

at least it didn't take you a cool 30+ secs to get to the 1/8 mile marker . I will post it up as soon as SR can get ahold of the guy to rip it for me.
