the other morning i was driving kinda hard, and when i went to third gear, it felt like it hit the rev limiter though it was only @ about 4k rpms. it only did it once... and first and second gears were fine up to 6k. i was a little low on gas... and i hope thats all it was, but i still had atleat 3 gallons left. any ideas of what this could have been? i've done all the regular maintainance...ie, fuel filter, spark plugs, oil changes, ... all very recently.

 

Was the car fully warmed up?

yeah... i try not to drive hard until the car is warm. i didn't do that with my supra... caused alot of internal problems. case in point, i've learned my leason.
