Yet another car to consider...
Looks like Volve is putting out another interesting car to consider... for $31k you can have a 2.0 liter 250ish HP S60 with a 5 speed. It weighs in at some 3400lbs but has peak torque at 2100rpms, 243 lb-ft of them... man, nice. Should be a interesting...

It's supposed to replace the S70 - and it's much less boxy. Sort of like a smaller S80. The T5 manual should be nice!

Hey Shing,
Go to http://www.ipdusa.com
They have some nice mods for the volvos. Thats where I get my stuff for the 850 turbo I drive. The S60 will be extremely nice. Volvo's are the ultimate sleeper.

Volvos are great cars, my mom has an S70 GLT that I drive once in a while when I'm home from college. Great pickup and the handling is tight. It's the benchmark for the suspension I want my Max to have...
one thing about Volvo
It's a joke how solid they are. Little sis' drives a 1985 244, dang thing doesn't understand what rust is. Big diff if the car stays with the original owners (within its family).
Wife's boss drives a T6. I don't agree with almost 270 hp to a FWD car but again, besides a coolant leaking problem the car is solid and under 7 sec for a huge heavy car.
I get a kick out of a 1985 car with no rattles, that really makes me laugh!

Just wait for the Blue Bolt to come out,
300HP AWD 6spd manual and 19 inch rims now your talking! It will probably be a bit pricey my guess $45K-50K.I also agree about volvo reliabilaty since for one a 196? volvo has 1.7 million miles on it! which is currently the world record holder, and right now sitting in my lawn is living evidence....it is a 84 240 5spd with over 300,000 miles on it and it starts up like nothing each and everytime which is about every other month because no one drives it,the only thing wrong with it is its whole under body it rusted out and you can see the ground through it yikes!!Another great thing about volvo's is safety for example I was involved in a serius accident in my mothers 94 Volvo 850 which resulting in 1 death {in the other car} and I walked away with a cut lip because I had braces at the time and the air bag poped me one it the mouth. So I love them but I love I30/max's better{which you might have guessed} .
