It's been about 3 weeks since I first put in the Philips Blue Visions. I would simply like to say that I can honestly see better at night with them. I drive from Houston to Dallas almost every weekend. 90% of this drive is after the sun sets. In all different weather conditions, I simply can see better. There is more light that's casted on the ground. Also there appears to be a more clearly defined light cut off with them. For those that are wanting to get the PIAA superwhites, I would say pass on that and go for the blue visions.

As you can see there's not difference in what I call the "be seen" department.

But in the lighting performance, after driving more than 1000 miles in the dark, I will say the Blue Vision is definately better.

It all boils down to whether you want performance or image. If you like the HID look, go ahead and get purple/blue bulbs, but don't expect to be able to see all that well at night. If you get the "yellower" bulbs like Bluevision, CoolBlue, etc..you will be getting better nighttime illumination, and a slightly whiter than stock look to boot.

I have the Sylvania Cool Blues and they are great. They are white enough for me and light up the road very well.
